The message contained this link about two different ways to deal with an earthquake. I don't know the best way for you to deal with an earthquake situation, and you will have to decide for yourselves which course of action is best for you and/or your loved ones to follow, but more knowledge is always a good way to start.
Hope we never experience an earthquake, but the thing about emergencies is that they are usually somewhat unexpected, either in their arrival or intensity, and having an idea of what to do beforehand is always a plus...
